LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami, Liaqat Baloch, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack at the shrine of Shah Noorani in Balochistan and said this was an attempt to plunge the county into sectarian strife and uncertain situation.
In a statement here on Sunday, he said that the enemy forces were active in Balochistan and terrorist incidents had increased after Indian Prime Minister Modi’s admission of interference in the province.
He said that the terrorist activities in Balochistan had been stepped up only to divert the world attention from the India’s forces atrocities in Held Kashmir. He urged the nation to unite against terrorists and saboteurs and expressed the hope that the enemies of Islam and Pakistan would fail in their nefarious designs.
Liaqat Baloch stressed that the intelligence net work in Balochistan should be further improved in order to check the enemy activities and for the security of the CPEC.
He said that the NAP against terrorism should be confined to its original targets, and the mosques, madrissahs and shrines which were religious centers and messengers of peace and love, be spared.
