JI delegation to leave for Turkey

LAHORE: A high level delegation of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, is leaving for Turkey on Friday on a two-week tour for an in-depth to study of the failure of the military coup there and to assess the progress of the Islamic movement.

The delegation will also examine the successes of the Turkish government in political and social fields. The delegation will be headed by JI deputy chief Rashid Naseem and would include Shahid Hashmi, Dr Fawad and Tabassum Jaffery.

On return, the delegation will brief the JI chief Senator Sirajul Haq, about the visit and also submit a line of action for the JIP for a better service to the Pakistani nation in the light of its study in Turkey.
