LAHORE: Jamaat e Islami Ameer Sirajul Haq has strongly condemned journalists targeted killing in Karachi.
JI Ameer Sirajul Haq along with JI leaders Liaqat Baloch and Ameerul Azeem denounced the assassination of Aftab Alam and Arshad Ali Jafary in Karachi.
They said in a statement that the frequent attacks on the journalists were a question mark for the performance of the government.
JI demanded of the government to bring the culprit to the justice and prayed for the departed souls. JI leaders expressed their sympathies with the bereaved families.
Wile Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Ameer Naeem-ur-Rehman has strictly condemned the murder of two senior journalists and political workers in the city and demanded of the government to arrest the culprits at earliest.
In a statement on Wednesday, he said that the firing on Geo News’ van that resulted in killing of an engineer Arshad Jaffery and target killing of senior journalist Aftab Alam was a matter of grave concern for the government as well as security agencies.
