LAHORE: Secretary General, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan, Liaqat Baloch assured the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and the Kashmiri leadership of the wholehearted support of the Pakistani nation in their struggle for liberation and said that their sacrifices for this cause would not go waste.
Talking to the Kashmiri leadership, he said that the martyrdom of Burhan Wani and young Junaid had fully exposed India’s brutalities and repression. He was confident that the world community would be compelled to pressurize New Delhi for plebiscite in Kashmir in line with the UN resolutions.
Liaqat Baloch said that the Kashmir issue was neither a land dispute nor an issue concerning demarcation of boundaries. Again, it was not a dispute between India and Pakistan. In fact, Pakistan, India and the Kashmiris were the three parties to this dispute and the final decision was to be announced by the Kashmiris.
