Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) has announced to hold a protest march against corruption after Eid-ul-Fitr.

JI Ameer Senator Sirajul Haq announcing protest march after Eid during a press conference in Lahore said, “It has been four months, we are running a campaign against corruption but still we can’t see Panama Leaks matter solving in near future.”

Sirajul Haq said “It seems like government is not interested in making Pakistan corruption free or solving Panama matter so we have decided to increase our campaign against corruption across the country to pressurise the government.”

The JI Ameer said the country has been divided into two, one for poor and other for the rich. Poor’s child is searching food from the garbage while rich’s pets even take bathe with mineral water, he added.

About Rs12 billion corruption is being done on daily basis and it seems like National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is not functional against it, he said and added that government is not interested over solving Panama matter.

JI has been running the campaign against corruption for last four months and after Eid the party will hold a protest march against it.
