KARACHI: Jamiat Islami (JI), Karachi has announced to take out a big ‘Tafuz-e-Namoose Resalat march’ on March 13th in protest against the hanging of Mumtaz Qadri and attempts to repeal and amend the blasphemy laws.
This was announced on Thursday at a meeting of the office bearers of all levels, held at JI Karachi headquarters. JI Pakistan Amir Senator Siraj-ul-Haq would be addressing the rally.
JI appealed masses to foil the conspiracies, being hatched by the enemies of our Holy Prophet (PBUH). The party urged people participate in the march while shunning all differences to express their support and love to the Holy Prophet (SAW).
Speaking on the occasion, JI Sindh President Dr. Meraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui stated that Mumtaz Qadri would continue to be appeared until and unless the issue of blasphemy is surfaced.
He said that the issue of blasphemy is a matter of life and death to us and each and every Muslim is ready to follow the footprints of Gazi Alam Din and Mumtaz Qadri.
JI Karachi chief Engr. Naeem-ur-Rehman said that the hanging of Mumtaz Qadri is a shameful act to follow the agenda of global anti-Muslim and anti Pakistan forces.
He said that the entire country is in deep grief and sorrow over the hanging of Mumtaz Qadri but the rulers are deliberately avoiding to sense the sentiments of people.
