ISLAMABAD: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Monday praised the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif over commencing farewell meeting which ended uncertainty amongst nationals.
Sirajul Haq said the nation salutes insights of the COAS General Raheel Sharif who adopted bold and courageous policy to address internal and external threats to the country besides foiling warring ambitions of India.
The Senator said General Raheel Sharif made an exemplary move to get room in hearts of the nationals instead of preferring just a seat or position. Sirajul Haq said that General Raheel Sharif had set best example by earning a place for himself in the minds and hearts of the masses through his frequent movements.
He urged heads of all national institutions to adopt example set by the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif.
The JI Ameer urged for believing on collective insights instead of limitation of powers for one person which always created hurdles for democracy and politics. He said, “Instead of relying on an individual, we should depend on the collective wisdom as the policies of a single individual in politics had always created problems.”
