ISLAMABAD: Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Senator Sirajul Haq on Monday expressed reservations on the route of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in a meeting with former chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao in Charsadda.
‘PCEC should be beneficial for all the provinces alike and no such alteration should be done which could cause loss to the interests of KPK and Balochistan,’ he said.
He said the economic corridor should provide opportunities of development to the poor areas of KPK and Balochistan.
They also demanded to merge FATA into KPK or make it a separate province.
