Two terminals of New York City’s JFK Airport have been evacuated after an unknown shooter reportedly opened fire in the area. Flights to the airport are also diverted.
The shots were heard around at 9:30 p.m. local time in John F. Kennedy International Airport’s Terminal 8, according to witnesses.
Another round of shots was fired later at 10:15 p.m. in Terminal 1 of the airport, PIX11 reported.
Witnesses posted images on social media that show a crowd rushing to evacuate.
