NORTH WAZIRISTAN: As many as 17 militants were killed on Friday (today) morning in Pakistan Air Force (PAF) jet planes attacks on suspected hideouts of the militants, sources said.
According to the sources, the PAF planes continuing operation Zarb-e-Azab targeted suspected safe heavens of terrorists in Wariki Mandi area of North Waziristan killing at least 17 militants including a foreigner.
Around three hideouts of the extremists were destroyed and five vehicle in their use were also damaged in the attacks.
The operation Zarb-e-Azab offensive has been continued successfully in North Waziristan since last June.
