COLOMBO: Sri Lanka star all-rounder Jehan Mubarak finally succeeds to impress selectors after 8-year as he made his return to Test cricket against Pakistan.
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Wednesday named their 16-men squad for the three-Test home series against Pakistan starting next week.
Jehan Mubarak, 34, who played last Test in 2007 managed to impress selectors to select him in the squad while three new faces off-spinner Tharindu Kaushal, uncapped fast bowler Dushmantha Chameera and left-handed batsman Kusal Perera, who’s played One Day Internationals (ODI) already, impressed selectors.
The first one on June 17 in Galle, followed by the second in Colombo and third in Pallekele before the ODI and T20 series.
