JC for alleged rigging to hold in camera session to settle future procedure

ISLAMABAD:  A judicial commission formed for probing alleged rigging in last general election on Wednesday decided to hold in camera session to settle next procedure of the commission.

The three-member commission, headed by Chief Justice Nasir-ul-Mulk, continued the hearing of the commission on Wednesday.

The commission has ordered Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to submit evidences and witnesses on May 5.

The PTI suggested to hold in-camera session to decide future procedure of the commission.

The head of the commission Justice Nasir Ul Mulk said that lots of programs were being aired on TV channels regarding proceedings of the commission adding that on very first day he requested for responsible journalism.

The CJ warned that if the programs on TV channels continued they will hold in-camera session of the commission.

The PTI counsel Abdul Hafeez Pirzada said he has no objection on it.

The next session of the commission will be held on next Tuesday.
