Govt rejects possibility of early elections

PESHAWAR: The Election Commission of Pakistan on Sunday announced the official results of 13 out of 16 constituencies where elections were held on Saturday.

These 16 constituencies from erstwhile Fata were recently merged into the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa.

According to the officials results, Jamaat-e-Islami and Awami National Party won one seat each while PTI bagged four and independent candidates secured five seats. The Jamiat-e-Ulema Islam-Fazl had won two seats.
