It’s too early to celebrate development of coronavirus vaccine: Dr Atta

Islamabad: Renowned scientist and head of Coronavirus Task Force Dr Attaur Rehman said that it was too early to celebrate the development of coronavirus vaccine.

Speaking on a local TV’s show on Tuesday, Dr Atta said that the vaccine still needs an approval, which could take upto two months.

The head of Coronavirus Task Force added that preparation of the vaccine on a large scale and its price was also a problem. However, he said that a Chinese firm has also developed a vaccine, which has positive effects.

He further said that the clinical trials of the Chinese vaccine had been successful. The vaccine does not need negative 80 degree transportation. Therefore, this vaccine is usefull for Pakistan.
