A bomb explosion claims life of one person before building of the Italian consulate in Cairo here on Saturday, officials said.
Egyptian security officials said that it was the incident of car bombing while preliminary investigators indicated that the remote-controlled explosives were planted under a vehicle parked near the consulate.
A government high-level official said that one Egyptian civilian was killed while 10 sustained wounds including two policemen in the explosion .
No group has claimed responsibility of the early morning bomb blast that caused heavy damages to the Italian consulate.
