Israel has banned the entry of Muslims aged less than 30 years into al-Aqsa Mosque throughout the Holy month of Ramazan.

According to yenisafak.com, only on Friday’s male Palestinians between 30 and 40 years would be allowed to enter the al-Aqsa Mosque.

However, women and men over the age of 40 will be allowed to enter the mosque on Laylat al-Qadr, or the Night of Power, which is when Muslims believe the first verses of the Quran were revealed.

Israeli authorities are also limiting transport to the al-Aqsa Mosque. Only 500 flights to the nearby Ben Gorion Airport will be permitted.

Only 100 men over the age of 55 will be permitted to enter on Fridays, and on any other day of the week, only 300 people will be permitted to enter.
