ISPR says Pak Army jawan martyred, two civilians hurt in Indian firing across Line of Control

RAWALPINDI: A Pakistan Army jawan was martyred and two civilians wounded in unprovoked firing by Indian forces from across the Line of Control , the Pakistan military’s media-wing said on Thursday.

Pak Army Sepoy Naimat Wali was martyred and two women hurt in Baroh and Chirikot sectors along the LoC, ISPR said.

In a befitting response, posts of Indian Army were targeted silencing the enemy guns.

On Tuesday, Pakistan had lodged a strong protest with India against unprovoked ceasefire violations by its forces along the Line of Control, martyring an elderly woman and injuring three others.
