RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD: Director General (DG) ISPR Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa on Saturday said he strongly condemned the murder of Sabeen Mehmud and said the culprits will be brought to justice.
The DG, ISPR in a message on micro blogging social site twitter, he said intelligence agencies have been given the task to investigate the murder of rights activist Sabeen Mehmoud.
Acting President Mian Raza Rabbani has also strongly denounced the killing of rights activist Sabeen Mahmoud in Karachi.
He expressed his condolences with the bereaved family and said the perpetrators of the despicable act should be brought to justice.
Furthermore, FIR of the social activist murder has been registered on complain of her injured mother in Defence police station.
It is pertinent to mention here that The director of The Second Floor (T2F), Sabeen Mahmud had been gunned down in Karachi on Friday. Unidentified gunmen targeted her, right after she attended a talk on Balochistan issue.
She had organized a talk on” Un-silencing Balochistan Take 2 “.Her mother also injured in the attack.
