KARACHI: Islamic movements across the world are moving forward and showing achievements despite hardships and problems.
These views were expressed by Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Pakistan’s leader and director current affairs Abdul Gaffar Aziz. He was addressing to a party convention of JI, Karachi, held at its headquarters Idara Noor-e-Haq, here on Sunday.
He said that Islamic movements from Egypt to Kashmir have been facing a hard times. Their members are being targeted, executed, subjected to worst torture and being pressed against wall by the state machinery. He added that despite all these major issues, the movements have been gaining momentum.
The JI leader further said that the surge of freedom of the holy land of Palestine is almost a common feature in the Islamic movements across the world. He added that hundreds of patients in hospitals of Gaza have died due to blockade imposed by Israel.
He said that Islamic movement in Egypt also keeps very strong roots in masses. He said that Israel assassinated Zawaheri in a remote area of Tunis because he was urging people to take part in the struggle for freedom of Gaza.
Talking about Syria, he said that at least 500,000 people have been killed in Syria dueing last five years. He further said that the global powers have launched several armed groups in the country to support the leadership of Syria.
He further said that conspiracies are being hatched against Turkey to isolate her in the global community.
JI Karachi chief Engr. Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman also addressed the members convention. He said that JI would continue to raise voice against injustice and for the oppressed Muslims across the world.
He further said that the party has been struggling hard for provision of rights of people and vowed that the struggle would be pace up in near future.
