On the call of Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan’s Nazim-e-Ala Hasan Bilal Hashmi, a day of protest is being observed to restore student unions across the country today.
The JI Nazim said that the decision to restore the student union could not be implemented so far, which is worrying. The Islamic Jamiat Talaba will make every possible effort to give rights to the students.
He further said that the government is denying the decision of the Supreme Court, adding the country will get the best national leadership only through student leadership.
Bilal Hashmi said that protests and rallies will be held in educational institutions across the country today (Thursday). If the schedule of the student union elections is not released, the students will take to the streets and important educational and political places, widening the scope of the protest.
