ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Thursday announced to hold nation-wide protest on Friday (tomorrow).
Imran Khan made the announcement post raid of Islamabad police on PTI Youth Convention being held in Taj Marquee on Thursday night.
The PTI chief clarified that the protest will be held at any cost even if he was sent behind bar. He questioned under which law the peaceful PTI workers were arrested by police officials.
Earlier, Riot police on Thursday night conducted crackdown against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) public event continued in Taj Marquee Hall of federal capital Islamabad.
Several PTI workers and local leaders were arrested during the surprise raid conducted by police officials besides lodging baton charge which injured many women political workers.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Vice-Chairman of the party has strongly condemned the incident and stated that police have tortured peaceful members of the party.
