ISLAMABAD: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed all the preparations for the first-ever local government elections in Islamabad as final list of contesting candidates will be displayed here on Monday.
The final list of candidates along with the electoral symbols would be displayed outside the offices of all the deployed returning officers (ROs) while the printing process of the ballot papers would start by tomorrow.
As per details, almost 4500 candidates have been finalized to contest in 79 union councils (UCs) whereas more than 6 lac voters would utilize their voting right.
Moreover, the federal capital would hold LB polls on July 25.
