Election Commission of Pakistan has setup the control room to receive complaints of the people during first ever Local government elections in Islamabad.
The Numbers are as follows: 051-9210816, 9210817, and 9210818 and fax numbers 051-9210819 and 9210820.
The polling process is also under way at 7am this morning which will continue till 5:30 in the evening without any break.
Over 2,400 candidates are in the fray for the slots of chairman, vice chairman and councilors. There are over 670,000 registered voters in ICT.
Elaborate arrangements have been made to ensure security during the exercise.
At least 625 Army personnel and 700 Rangers besides police will be deployed in the federal capital.
About one thousand FC personnel will also help maintain law and order.
