LAHORE: Top Islamic cleric around Muslim World, Imam-e-Kaaba Sheikh Khalidul Ghamidi Sheikh Khalid al-Ghamdi, delivered Friday sermon at the Grand Mosque in Bahria Town Lahore on Friday (today) which was attended by thousands including women and children.
Imam-e-Kaaba also offered Adhaan (call for prayer) before delivering Friday sermon in the Grand Mosque today during his ongoing seven-day visit to Pakistan.
Al-Ghamdi said that Islam was a clear and open religion that taught them peace while enemies were propagating against the peace friendly religion that did not allow any kind of extremism and terrorism.
Al-Ghamdi was was previously the Imam of Masjid-e-Quba and Masjid-e-Nabvi and also a professor at Jamiatul Qura in Saudi Arabia.
