ISLAMABAD: The Finance Minister Ishaq Dar appreciated the support of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) in setting up the EXIM Bank.
A meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Thursday finalized modalities for launching the EXIM Bank of Pakistan.
Its paid up capital will be ten billion rupees. The meeting was informed that the Bank will give a boost to export focused SME’s in the country by offering them access to export credit and providing insurance of export receivables. Various steps necessary for early operationalization of the Bank were also discussed.
