Sardar Mengal says will file reference against defectors

ISLAMABAD: Every one is talking whether the PTI government is in danger after the BNP-M has announced to break the coalition with the federal government here on Wednesday.

Speaking on the floor of the house today, the BNP-M chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal said: “Today, I formally announce to withdraw from the alliance with the PTI.”

However, BNM-M will continue to be the part of the National Assembly, raising the issues in Balochistan, he added.

The BNP-M said that his party had signed two agreements with the PTI-led government. But, unfortunately no part of the agreements was implemented in two years.

The BNP-M has fours seat in the National Assembly and one seat in the Senate.

The PTI has 156 seats in the lower house while along with its allies has a total of 186 seats in the National Assembly.

The combined opposition has 156 members in the parliament.
