Apple has unveiled its latest flagship smartphone Apple iPhone 6s, let’s compare the device with its furious rival smartphone the Samsung Galaxy S6.
Samsung Galaxy S6 was launched in April this year while Apple released its smartphone couple of days ago.
Despite have huge amount of upgrade, the iPhone may not match the power house Galaxy S6.
If we take a look at the design of both smartphones Apple haven’t made allot of changes in the design which is very similar to iPhone 6 launch last year. On the other hand Samsung has redesigned its flagship device. Both come with aluminum body but the Galaxy S6 has pity cool glass finish unlike iPhone aluminum back.
As far as display is concerned, both companies have worked extremely hard to make such high resolution displays. In this department Samsung has an edge with 5.1 inches Super AMOlED screen with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels ~577 ppi while Apple iPhone 6s has a 4.7 inches RetinaHD display of resolution 750 x 1334 pixels ~326 ppi pixel with 3D Force Touch.
The cool thing Apple has is its 3D Force Touch display which is quite new to smartphone market.
Both device has a finger print scanners. The new iPhone 6s is powered by a 64-bit M9 chipset with 2 GB of RAM on the other hand the Galaxy S6 has an Exynos 7420 64-bit Octa-core processor with 3 GB of RAM.
The iPhone 6s comes in 16/64 and 128 GB storage models while Galaxy S6 comes in 32/64 and 128 GB storage models. Both devices don’t have expendable storage options.
Apple has upgraded its camera sensor as well. The device now has a 12 megapixel rare and 5 megapixel front cameras. The rare camera of the device is capable of 4K video recording as well. On the other side the South Korean company’s smartphone has a 16 megapixels rare and 5 megapixel front camera. It is also capable of recording 4K videos.
Apple runs the latest iOS 9 while the Galaxy S6 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. Apple iPhone has a 1,715mAh battery with no wireless or fast charging options while Samsung Galaxy S6 features a 2,550mAh battery with wireless and fast charging options.
Apple iPhone 6s comes in Space Gray, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold colour options while Samsung Galaxy S6 is available in Black, Blue, Gold and White colours.
