SAMAR BAGH: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer, Senator Sirajul Haq on Monday strongly condemned latest wave of state violence in Indian Occupied Kashmir where more than two dozen Kashmiris were brutally martyred by Indian troops.

Sirajul Haq said the Indian government has deployed more military contingents to crush Independence of Kashmir Movement in IOK through torture and violence. He said traditional statements of Prime Minister and Foreign Minister were ineffective to create any relief for Kashmiris. He added the Pakistani leadership will have to make concrete decision whether it will stand besides Kashmiris or Indian government.

He demanded the federal government to immediately summon special session of the United Nations’ Security Council (UNSC) to stop genocide of Kashmiris by Indian government. Sirajul Haq expressed his thoughts while addressing different gatherings in connection with Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations in Samar Bagh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

Siraj also slammed international powers and the United Nations (UN) over its criminal silence after witnessing genocide of Kashmiris, torching of worship places and Holy Quran and gang rapes of Kashmiri women by Indian troops.

He strongly criticised Pakistani government and Foreign Ministry over neglecting Kashmiris experiencing tough times in occupied part as more than 30 innocent Kashmiri youths were brutally murdered by the Indian troops.
