RAWALPINDI: Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has said that the international community has to play its role in averting the human tragedy in Afghanistan.
According to Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa said this during a meeting with the Canadian High Commissioner here on Monday in which issues of mutual interest and bilateral cooperation were discussed.
According to ISPR, the meeting also discussed the law and order situation in Afghanistan, including the situation in the region.
The Army Chief said that Afghanistan needs global coordination. He said that Pakistan wanted long lasting relations with Canada in various fields.
