SRINAGAR: The people of occupied Kashmir are under military curfew and without Internet facility on the 136th consecutive day here on Wednesday.
Last month, Indian forces had transferred two Kashmiri youths Muhammad Afzal Lone and Fayaz Ahmed Ganaie to Srinagar Central Jail from Kupwara and Srinagar areas.

Both were arrested on alleged charges of organising anti-India protests and hurling stones.
Earlier in October, the post-paid voice calls were restored in the valley.
On Aug 5, India had abrogated Article 370 withdrawing special status given to occupied Kashmir.
Meanwhile, at least five more protesters were killed during the violent protests against the controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill here on Sunday.
Three of the victims were shot dead by the local police while one died after being beaten up during the violent protests. The fifth victim was burnt to death when a shop in which he was sleeping was torched.
Local administration has imposed curfew and Internet blackout in some parts of the northeast region.
