Pakistani military has made significant humanitarian move by launching special rescue mission to save life of Afghan soldier wounded and trapped by terrorists in Pakistan-Afghanistan border area, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday.
Pakistan military carried out special mission to bring out wounded Afghan soldier within boundaries of Afghanistan border area, ISPR said.
However, The soldier was later shifted to Bajaur Agency for medical treatment in Khar Hospital followed by his recovery after successful rescue mission.
The rescue operation was conducted to save life of the trapped Afghan soldier over request of Afghanistan officials.
