Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rasheed, said that any award cannot define value of renowned social worker Abdus Sattar Edhi.
Pervaiz Rasheed arrived in Karachi here on Friday where he met ailing Edhi at his residence. While talking to media persons, Rasheed said that he came to Karachi on behalf of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to inquire about health of Edhi. He said Edhi was greater than any award.
He said Edhi has introduced Pakistan as friend of humanity around the world. During the visit, Pervaiz Rasheed was accompanied by Senator Nihal Hashmi and Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Marvi Memon.
