LAHORE: The inside story of the meetings of the members of the National Assembly and former members of the Punjab Assembly with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has come to light.
Abid Raza, Rao Ajmal, Rana Mashhood, Anizeh Fatima, Rahila Khadim Hussain and others met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
According to the party sources, the PML-L members conveyed the sentiments of the people to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The members said that the people are extremely worried due to the problems of inflation, unemployment and declining economy. If the elections are held, the party will be swept away by the current wave of inflation.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif while talking said that he knew about the wave of inflation in the country. The economic situation is really very bad. It is not understood what to do in this economic situation, he said.
He said that the government was suffering due to Imran Khan’s mistakes. The conditions of the IMF are very painful but there is no other option but to accept them, he added.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that efforts are being made to give immediate relief to the people after the agreement with the IMF.
Meanwhile, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that he will give good news regarding the talks with the IMF today.
In an informal conversation with media representatives after a function in Islamabad, Ishaq Dar said that he is meeting with the IMF mission and negotiations with them are on track.
Finance Minister said that there is no disagreement with IMF, the final round is going on with them today, he will give good news regarding these negotiations today.
Last month, Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar had challenged Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan to a live debate on the issue of economy.
In his video statement, Ishaq Dar said that Imran Khan should come and debate with him. Imran Khan is telling false statements and lies again and again. The government is fixing the disaster brought by Imran Khan. The government had two options, save politics or save the state, we preferred the state over politics.
Ishaq Dar criticized former prime minister Imran Khan and said that the current situation of Pakistan is because of Imran Khan.
Ishaq Dar said that Imran Khan presented wrong economic data again today, Imran Khan is responsible for the bad conditions of the economy. We had a choice to save politics or the state, Imran Khan’s goal is that if his government does not exist, then the state does not exist.
