In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their fresh act of state terrorism martyred two Kashmiri youth and injured over twenty in Kundalan area of Shopian district, today.
The troops killed the youth during a violent cordon and search operation in the area. Indian Army claimed that the youth were militants and were killed in a clash with the troops.
Meanwhile, over twenty people have been injured in the use of brute force on protesters by Indian forces in the area. People took to the streets and staged forceful demonstrations as soon as the troops launched the cordon and search operation in the area.
Indian police and troops fired bullets, pellets and teargas to disperse the protesters, triggering clashes between the demonstrators and the forces’ personnel. More than 20 people have sustained injuries in the forces’ actions. Clashes and the operation in the area were going on till reports last came in.
