Indian troops martyr 2 more youth in occupied Kashmir

ISLAMABAD: Indian troops, in their fresh act of state terrorism,in Indian occupied Kashmir,  martyred two more Kashmiri youth in Kulgam district, today.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the troops killed the youth during a violent crackdown operation at Kund in Qazigund area of the district. People took to the streets and staged forceful demonstrations against the stepped up Indian state terrorism.

Meanwhile, another crackdown operation is going on at Lam in Tral area of Pulwama district. The authorities have suspended mobile and internet services in Islamabad, Kulgam and Pulwama districts.

On the other hand, complete shutdown is being observed in Palhalan, Bratkalan and Sopore areas of Baramulla district against the killing of Ashiq Ahmad Butt and Tayyeb Majeed Mir. They were martyred by the troops in a fake encounter in Handwara area of the district last evening.

The authorities have also suspended rail service in the occupied territory.

Despite restrictions and heavy deployment of the men in uniform, thousands of people, today, attended the funeral prayers of two youth at Brath Kalan and Pattan areas of Baramulla district. The martyred youth were laid to rest amid high-pitched pro-freedom and anti-India slogans in their ancestral villages.
