Indian troops launch massive operations in IOK

In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops launched massive cordon and search operations in Islamabad, Pulwama, Kulgam, Shopian and Bandipore districts.

A brief encounter took place after Indian troops launched a violent cordon and search operation at Bidoora-Achabal in Islamabad district. The exchange of firing continued for brief time and the operation is going on, a police officer told media men.

The occupation authorities suspended Mobile Internet Services in Islamabad district.

On the other hand, people took to the streets when Indian troops started massive cordon and search operation at Qaimoh in Kulgam district. The Indian forces used brute force and fired pellets and teargas shells on protesters; however, clashes were going on when this report was last filed.

Meanwhile, Indian army personnel along with paramilitary forces and Special operation Group also launched search operations in different areas of Pulwama, Shopian and Bandipore district.
