Pakistan Foreign Office (FO) on Friday summoned Indian High Commissioner, T.C.A. Raghavan, and deputy high commissioner, J. P. Singh to record protest against unprovoked firing by Indian forces on the Line of Control (LoC).
Pakistan FO protested the continuous violations on the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary before the Indian diplomats.
Indian forces’ heavy firing and shelling had killed at least seven and wounded more than 50 Pakistani citizens so far in different incidents near LoC and the Working Boundary.
It should be mentioned here that Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif had recently paid visit to the affected areas to meet wounded persons by unprovoked firing by Indian forces.
