New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has been taken into custody by UP Police on Thursday.
Rahul Gandhi alongwith his sister Priyanka Gandhi was going to meet the heirs of the victim of Hathras gangrape when the UP police took them into custody.
The police said that Section 144 was imposed in the area.
A 19-year-old Dalit girl was gangraped on Sept 14 in Hathras district. Later, she died at a hospital in New Delhi.
