MIRPUR: India on Wednesday set 167 runs target against Bangladesh in the first match of the Asia Cup at Shere Bangla National Stadium.
Bangladesh won the toss and decided to field. Indian opener Sharma remained the top scorer of the team and scored unbeaten 83 runs on 55 balls. He hit seven 4s and three 6s in the inning.
While Pandya scored 31 runs, Yuvraj Singh15 and Kohli made 8 runs in the match. India scored 166 runs on six wickets.
On the other hand, Bangladesh pacer Al-Amin Hossain took three wickets. Mashrafe Mortaza, Mahmudullah and Shakib Al Hasan took one wicket each.
