India playing negative role in Afghanistan: Afghan Taliban

Doha: The member of Afghan Taliban negotiating team, Bashir Muhammad Abbas, has said that India was playing a negative role in Afghanistan by supporting the Kabul government. 

Speaking to foreign media here, Abbas said that India is present in Afghanistan for 40 years but it had always played a negative role there.

The Afghan Taliban leader blamed India for enjoying economic, military and political ties with the corrupt groups in Afghanistan.

He said that the Afghan Taliban may agree to hold talks with India if New Delhi is willing to play a positive role in Afghanistan.
