India, Pakistan should proceed by forgetting past: Janjua

ISLAMABAD: Advisor to National Security, Lieutenant General (R) Nasir Janjua has termed the meeting held between Pakistan and Indian delegation a ‘new beginning’.

In an interview he said both Pakistan and India have to reduce tensions by forgetting the past events and to move forward with new hope and dedication.

He said that the future of both countries is most important, therefore, the states have to cooperate in different fields to boost their relations. He said that the meeting of both countries’ delegation is a positive step towards the development.

The conflicts have to be resolved by the present governments instead of leaving it for future generations, he added.
