Bengaluru, India: India is set to introduce its own app store for mobile users as an alternate to those offered by Google and Apple.
The development has come to make the country more self-reliant, media reports said.
An Indian TV reported that the Narendra Modi-led government is likely to ramp up its Mobile Seva App Store for the purpose.
The TV added that Android has over 95 per cent market-share in India.
The Indian government will make it mandatory for the Android cellphones to be pre-installed with its app store.
