The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, Syed Ali Gilani in Indian occupied Kashmir, has said that India is heading towards a Hindu Rashtra and fascism.
According to Kashmir Media Service , Syed Ali Gilani said this while reacting to the assertions recently made by a BJP leader, Surinder Singh, where he had boasted that “India will be a Hindu Rashtra by 2024”.
The APHC Chairman said, the assertions invalidate the rhetoric and parroting of Indian stooges in occupied Kashmir about India a ‘largest democracy’ mantra and added that it was quite shocking that they didn’t even feel ashamed of distorting facts about the so-called instrument of accession.
“These stooges are even justifying this on wrong assertions and distorting historical facts,” Syed Ali Gilani said and added that the Indians had no right to thrust their choice over Muslim community and other minorities living in India.
Referring to historical facts about partition plan, he said that Indian politicians were following deceit and double standard. He further said that the ruling parties and politicians in India were unwilling to accept the historical veracity.
Lamenting the approach of Indian government and its leaders, the APHC Chairman said that they themselves were in a fix and even inadvertently acknowledged the two-nation theory.
“As our geographical, cultural and religious affiliations are concerned, Kashmir in no way is a part of India, and people of Kashmir never accepted the so-called instrument of accession,” Syed Ali Gilani said.
He asked all pro-India political parties to shun hypocritical approach and desist from lending a hand to Hindutva politics and avoid any attempt to tinker 35 A or alter Muslim majority character of Jammu and Kashmir, as Kashmiris rendered unparalleled sacrifices for the sacred cause of freedom.
He appealed to the people to boycott upcoming panchayat polls, saying India and its local stooges have been using such elections to hoodwink international community.
Meanwhile, Syed Ali Gilani strongly condemned the detention of Kashmiri trader Bilal Kawa by Delhi police, saying Kashmiri youths are being implicated in false cases.
