SRINAGAR: The governor of occupied Kashmir has ordered for lifting a travel advisory, imposed on August 5, from October 10 in the valley.
Governor Satya Pal Malik directed that the home department’s advisory be lifted immediately.

On Aug 5, the Indian government had imposed a travel advisory asking tourists to leave the Valley.
Later, workers, tourists and pilgrims fled the region.
The Indian government snapped television, telephone and internet links to deter protests over its scrapping of special constitutional status for the region.
Meanwhile, the military curfew and communication blackout has entered 65th day on Tuesday in the occupied Kashmir.
