Imran Khan’s helicopter lands in Rawalpindi

RAWALPINDI: PTI chief Imran Khan has landed at a private university helipad here on Saturday.

Imran Khan will address PTI long march rally at Rawalpindi.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is holding a final power show in Rawalpindi. A large number of PTI workers are attending the rally.

On the direction of the administration, PTI changed the location of the rally, after which the stage has now been constructed on the Sixth Road flyover while the venue has been extended to Chandni Chowk.

The Rawalpindi Police conveyed important security instructions to the PTI leadership in writing.

The instructions have been given in writing to Deputy Speaker Punjab Assembly Wasiq Qayyum, according to which the instructions should be implemented for the security of the VIPs.

According to the guidelines, bulletproof rostrum and stage are mandatory in the meeting. Imran Khan must also use a bullet proof jacket and do not get out of the vehicle in any public place.

Contrary to tradition, Imran Khan’s movements should be kept secret. The route should not be used other than the proposed vehicle/pedestrian route. He will not meet the public at any place.

Move in liaison with VIP security officers and law enforcement agencies. VIP car parking will be separate and reserved.

Movement on the stage should be restricted and the list of participants should be provided to the management in advance. No one will be allowed on the stage.

There will be no armed private guards/gunmen in the rally and march. All participants will be able to enter only after thorough checking from the proposed venue. Use of drone camera/fireworks will be strictly prohibited.
