Islamabad: Police arrested Imran Khan’s focal person Hassaan Niazi.
Islamabad Police arrested Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s focal person Hasan Niazi from outside the Anti-Terrorism Court.
Hassan Niazi was present with PTI leaders during the appearance of Imran Khan at the judicial complex on Saturday.
On the occasion of Chairman PTI’s appearance, a riot broke out outside the judicial complex in which several vehicles were set on fire while PTI workers rioted outside the court.
According to the FIR, the main gate and glass of the judicial complex were broken, the accused who had set fire to the building, pelted stones and broken things of the judicial complex were arrested, 2 police vehicles, 7 motorcycles were burnt, SHO Golra official. The vehicle was damaged.
Meanwhile, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has announced the formation of a Joint Investigation Team (JIT) on the Zaman Park incident.
The Punjab government has decided to send all the details of the Zaman Park incident to the Election Commission, while the caretaker chief minister has given a free hand to the police.
The Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab said that he will issue a writ of the government in any case and I stand by my police, I asked the police to come back from the gate twice because I did not want to spill blood in any case. A police vehicle was thrown into the canal.
Mohsin Naqvi said that the police was told today that the writ of government will be established and we stand with the police, the party workers who are doing this terrorism cannot do it.
He said that he has decided to form the JIT, the notification of which is being issued today, he is writing a letter to the Election Commission regarding the entire situation. Financial support to injured police personnel, will not tolerate threats to policemen and if police are not trusted then turn back police security.
