ISLAMABAD: Former Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed has said that Imran Khan will remain prime minister for another 15 days.
In a statement, Sheikh Rasheed said that the general elections would be held without electronic voting machine and the opposition should be happy that voting without them was considered an election.

“I have met the prime minister and I think Imran Khan will be prime minister for another 15 days,” he said.
Sheikh Rasheed said that he had been suggesting that the only solution to the problem is election.
Last week, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed had said that elections in Pakistan may be held soon but he wants the country and democracy to move forward.
Talking to media in Lahore on Thursday, Sheikh Rasheed said that after today you will hear good news, adding that hopefully the situation will improve day by day.
Criticizing the PPP, the interior minister said that Bilawal’s milk teeth have not been broken yet. The opposition has trapped itself in its own trap, he said adding that after March 25, only prayers will be said. The PML-N narrative of respect the vote had sunk.
He said that the PML-N should provide the schedule of the long march, so far no request has been received regarding the permission of the meeting.
Sheikh Rasheed said that the opposition should not be under the illusion that they have our people. The opposition should know that we also have their people while those who are responsible are not voting for no-confidence.
Talking about political maneuvering in Punjab, the interior minister said that Usman Buzdar is not going anywhere. He also stands with Imran Khan like me.
He further said that wherever they went, they used to abuse the army from London. The institutions never forget, the high judiciary is far-sighted and knowledgeable while the Armed Forces of Pakistan is a great army and the Establishment also stands by Pakistan, he added.
The interior minister said that he was in favor of emergency in Sindh but the matter has gone far beyond that, therefore Imran Khan rejected my proposal.
