LAHORE: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and former Prime Minister Imran Khan praised Nawaz Sharif.
In an interview, Imran Khan said that Nawaz Sharif did a good job by not extending the extension to former Army Chief General (R) Qamar Javed Bajwa. Chairman PTI also rejected the offer of life extension to Qamar Javed Bajwa.
In a TV interview, Imran Khan said that we came to know that Shahbaz Sharif had offered extension to Qamar Javed Bajwa, so I said if he is giving extension then we will also give it to you, don’t give extension to General Bajwa. Kar Nawaz Sharif did a good job, every human makes mistakes, I also made mistakes.
Imran Khan said that it is a lie that we offered life extension to General Bajwa. No way, when they looted our allies and sent them to the other side, I announced the election.
The former prime minister said that sumoto action was taken, courts opened at 12 o’clock, our election announcement was rejected.
Imran Khan said that General Bajwa considered Shehbaz Sharif to be a great genius but it was not so, see what his level will be, General Bajwa’s ideas were more similar to those people.
He said that in the beginning General Bajwa and we were on the same page on other issues including foreign policy, in the last 6 months there was a change, there was a sudden change in foreign policy, we wanted us to remain neutral in the Ukraine war, a It occurred to him that we should condemn Russia.
