‘Imran Khan ordered to stage sit-in in Sangjani’, says Ali Muhammad Khan in audio leak

The audio of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Muhammad Khan on November 26 protest in Islamabad has been leaked.

Ali Muhammad Khan confirmed the audio as his when contacted by a local TV.

According to the sources, during the meeting of the parliamentary party, the leaders raised questions about going to D Chowk instead of Sangjani on the orders of Imran Khan.

In the leaked audio, Ali Muhammad is saying that PTI is a political party and the protest should have been announced by Barrister Gohar instead of Aleema Khan. Imran Khan said that there is no place for heritage in our party, why did Aleema Khan herself call for protest?

The PTI leader said that he also complained to the chairman that the announcements should be made by the party and he also said that the party leadership will give the next call.

He said that the founding chairman did not ask to come to D Chowk as he only asked to come to Islamabad.

According to Ali Muhammad Khan, the party chairman said in front of Barrister Gohar, Faisal Chaudhry and others that our aim was to negotiate through protest. The chairman also opposed holding separate protests in Sindh and Punjab. The founding chairman had asked to stage a sit-in in Sangjani and also ordered to negotiate.
