Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan has inaugurated the Bab-e-Peshawar flyover in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).
Imran Khan addressing to a ceremony congratulated K-P CM Pervez Khattak, the National Logistics Cell (NLC) and DG Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) Hasan Saleem Wattoo for the construction of this mega bridge in a record time of six months.
The flyover is constructed on Hayatabad-Jamrud Road with an estimated cost of Rs1.77 billion and the contract was awarded to NLC.
PTI Chairman criticised the federal government for borrowing $4 billion loans within just two-and-a-half years.
“The real change lies in the human development and not in the construction of roads and bridges as wrongly instilled in the minds of the people by the current federal government,” he lamented.
